Raleigh, North Carolina-based CMC Hotels specializes in the development, acquisition, repositioning and management of upscale limited and full service hotels.

Our properties lead the market, consistently meeting and exceeding operational and financial expectations as well as the guest’s expectation of hospitality.

CMC Hotels built the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Cary in 1999. This property was the first of its kind in the Holiday Inn family and was adopted as a prototype property. The extra design touches include; an indoor pool/spa, lobby bar, oversize upscale lobby area with seating nooks perfect for guest’s meeting with clients or family. The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Cary stands out not only in design but also in service. It maintains a quality excellence status and has received the coveted Torchbearer award three years in a row.

CMC Hotels purchased the Days Inn in 2001. Immediately undertaking a 2 million-dollar renovation to produce the award winning full service Holiday Inn North Raleigh. The rejuvenated property has produced a 100% increase in room revenue.

The Best Western Cary Inn & Suites and the Best Western North Raleigh have both received the highest quality honor presented to Best Westerns, the Director’s Award. Likewise the hotels strive to achieve total customer satisfaction. They boast a 98% customer satisfaction intent to return rating.

In 2005 CMC Hotels purchased the Holiday Inn Select in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This property underwent a complete renovation of its guestrooms and public space including 6,000 square feet of banquet facilities. This 4 million-dollar renovation earned CMC the prestigious Renovation of the Year award from Intercontinental Hotels Group.

In 2008 CMC will open the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Wilmington, North Carolina. This 111 unit extended stay hotel features full kitchens, LCD televisions and spacious living areas appointed with fresh modern furnishings.

The CMC portfolio continues to grow with three properties in the pipeline all with estimated opening dates in 2009: SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cary, Holiday Inn Express Brier Creek/ RDU and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham/Chapel Hill.
